Summary Position is in a highly visible area and therefore strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Handles or assists with administrative matters of a confidential nature, frequently involving sensitive internal and/or external contact. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Screens incoming correspondence and telephone calls for Administrative Suite in courteous manner and routes calls appropriately. 2. Obtains and sorts mail for Administrative Suite. 3. Orders office supplies as needed. 4. Responsible for upkeep of lobby area located in Administrative Suite. 5. Researches, compiles and organizes information for use in the completion of reports and/or special projects as directed by Executive Staff and/or Office Supervisor. 6. If needed, assists members of Executive Staff in making appointments, while exercising discretion in commitment of the Executive Staff members' time. 7. Coordinates social functions as requested. 8. Sets up and maintains a variety of office files. 9. May coordinate registration, attendance, schedules and lodging accommodations for Executive Staff members attending educational conferences. 10. Assists Office Supervisor with coordination of workload among the Administrative support staff when needed. 11. Performs special assignments and other duties as needed.
