Job Objectives: Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters. Maintains vehicles functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage. Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems. Complies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards. Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting. Maintains vehicles records by recording service and repairs.
REQUIREMENTS;
~ Must have valid driver's license.
~ Ability to lift an object weighing up to 60 lbs.
~ Ability to climb, squat, pull, push, reach, and stand for long periods of time.
~ Ability to communicate effectively with management, associates and customers.
~ Must be reliable and timely for work schedule
~ Must have own tools
~ Must have the ability to troubleshoot the ability to troubleshoot & accurately diagnose vehicles.
COMPENSATION & HOURS:
Starting rate $20.00 per hour (flat rate)
